Every one of these cats are hand sculptured using Stone Ware Clay. They are then bisque fired with temperatures over 2,000 degrees. Each cat is hand glazed in different colors and whimsical designs. Once painted, the cats are then returned to the kiln for the glaze firing, which takes at least 12 hours. After the final firing, the legs are wired to the main body and the jewelry backings are attached. It takes two to three days from start to finish. Each is a unique creation with NO two alike.
